CAFFYN CUP
Open only to individual members of Clubs affiliated to Eastbourne and District Small-Bore Rifle League
The competition to be on a self handicap basis. Each competitor to state with his entry the handicap selected. This handicap will then be fixed throughout the competition.
Telescopes will not be allowed at any stage of the competition except for sighters.
FIRST STAGE – One ten bull match card to be shot at 15, 20 or 25 yards on the competitors own range. All cards to be signed by one witness, who must be an official of the Club of which the competitor is a member. 50% and equal of all competitors in the first stage will pass to the second stage.
SECOND STAGE – Ten shots on one card as in the first stage. The top 4 and equal competitors with the highest score will pass to the final stage.
FINAL STAGE – One card as before to be fired shoulder to shoulder on a range to be decided by the League Committee. Lots to be drawn for squadding and order of firing. All firing to be witnessed by officials of the League or persons nominated by them. Ties in this round only to be shot off.
