RUSSELL CUP
Open to teams of three from clubs affiliated to Eastbourne and District Small-Bore Rifle League.
All members of each team to be members of the same club. In the event of any individual belonging to more than one Club (he/she) may only be entered as a member of the team for the Club in which (he/she) fires in the League competition.
One substitute may be nominated for each team and may fire in place of any member of that team at any time. The substitute may not be a member of another team. No further substitutes are allowed.
Ten shots to be fired by each member of the team on 10 bull match cards.
Rule (f) of League competition will apply.
Ties to be decided by the use of graduated gauges.
Knock-out competition rules to apply.
In making the draw for the first round, the draw may be seeded as far as possible to avoid teams from the same club meeting in the early stages.
The final round to be shot shoulder to shoulder on such range as in the opinion of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall be most convenient having regard to all the circumstances, and to be witnessed by an official of the League.
Order of firing in the last round to be decided by lot.
Ties in the last round to be decided by the use of graduated gauges.
