SPICER CUP

Open to individual members of clubs affiliated to Eastbourne and District Small-Bore Rifle League.

Entries shall only be accepted from members whose average in any competition or club shooting during the preceding season is certified by the Secretary of their club to be 92 or less or in the case of a new member only has not exceeded 92 prior to entry.

All entries shall be accompanied by a certificate signed by the Secretary of the entrant’s club stating that the entrant’s average during the periods aforesaid has not exceeded 92.

FIRST STAGE – Two cards to be shot at 15, 20 or 25 yards.  Ten shots on each ten bull match card on the competitors club range to be completed in one hour.  All cards to be signed by one witness whose signature will be held to verify that the conditions of the competition have been complied with.  Top two thirds and equal will pass to the second stage.

SECOND STAGE – Ten shots on each of two cards as before on competitors range to be completed in one hour.  The top four and equal will pass to final stage.

FINAL STAGE – Two ten bull cards to be fired shoulder to shoulder on such range as in the opinion of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall be most convenient having regard to all the circumstances.  Lots to be drawn for squadding and order of firing.  All firing to be witnessed by officials of the League or persons nominated by them.  Ties in this round only to be decided by graduated gauges.
